The Brains has never been a band to follow the rules. In fact, the members of the group made a point of utterly destroying every one of these rules with each album they release and every performance they give.
These hardworking road warriors have brought their eye-popping live shows to the four corners of the globe. They perform to full houses in Canada, Europe, Mexico and the United States, sometimes even alongside bands like Rancid, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, Offspring, and Reverend Horton Heat.
The Brains stand out as a group to watch, by constantly working at mastering their skills. It hasn't been enough for them to earn awards and secure number one spots on music television programs; they are now hell-bent on world domination. Die Lakeside Jerks sind eine Rock’n’Roll Kapelle vom Bodensee, die inzwischen 25 Jahre existiert. Sie spielen hauptsächlich eine Mischung aus zügigem Rock’n’Roll und Rockabilly in
der Besetzung mit zwei Gitarren, einem Kontrabass und Schlagzeug. Dazwischen gibt es, vor allem live, ab und an auch mal Einflüsse aus dem Country-, und Folkbereich zu hören.
Die Jerks haben seit ihrer Gründung immer fleissig live gespielt und dabei auch schon in Zürich, Basel, St. Gallen, Winterthur, Biel, Schaffhausen, Konstanz, Kreuzlingen und vielen weiteren Orten - vor allem in der Ostschweiz - Halt gemacht. Dabei durften sie die Bühne mit Bands wie Slam&Howie, Posh, The Drops, Fucking Beautiful, Tüchel, Gloria Volt, Painhead, Restock, The Seniles, Vorwärts, Lost Purity, Carson, Hecht, EAZ u.v.m. teilen.
