Bumblebees^CH + Juri Volta^CH

After exploring the outer space for the last years, the shuttle carrying the Bumblebees has landed in the middle of the sea and transformed into a tiny paper boat. At the beginning it was hard to keep the delicate boat afloat and the rough waves were whirling it around like grains of sand in the wind. But once the storm calmed down, the sunrays turned the water surface into a golden pond to lightheartedly sail for unexpected possibilities. There is a balance, it is precarious, let’s do everything to keep it standing.

Musically, this change is heard in a newly acquired predilection for dancy rhythms, knowing that, just like the spacy reverbs kept the shuttle flying, only this motion will keep the boat afloat. Dreamy moments intercalate the exuberant explosions of sound, and the listener dives in a sea reflecting the band’s omnivorous appreciation of music. Waves of dream pop, garage rock, new wave and electro pop merge in a vibrant whirlwind where everybody will be free to let loose in the enveloping spiral.

Mit gerade mal 18 Jahren steigt Juri Volta in den Ring und spielt sich mit seiner Band "Strandhotel Markus" von St. Galler Strassenkonzerten hoch zu ausverkauften Shows im Kugl und Palace.

Mit "Disco Disco" landet die Band auf Platz 1 der toxic.fm-Charts. Der "Disco Disco"-Remix generiert Airplay-Vibes von Brisbane bis LA.

Nach diesem Erfolg gönnt sich Juri eine Auszeit. Während der 18 Monate auf Weltreise schriebt er sein 1. Soloalbum "Poolboy" und veröffentlicht es unter dem Pseudonym Florian Summer. Bäm .. knackt die CH-Charts und landet direkt auf Platz 11. Es folgen Airplays auf SRF 3 (Cecilia), SRF 1 (Machu Picchu), Energy (Rimini), Radio Top, Radio Zürichsee, Sunshine, Munot, Fribourg und über 100 Shows von Indien bis Davos.

2020 wird Florian Summer zum neuen alter Ego Juri Volta. Es folgen im 2022 die Singles "100t Kerosin", "Halte dich an meiner Liebe fest" und "Molotowcocktail". 100'000 Streams, Radio Airplay und eine Akustik-Tour mit Band sind erst der Anfang.

Dieter Meier sagt über Juri Volta: «Ein Tausendsassa, spielt alle Instrumente im Studio selbst ein, hat als Filmemacher Preise gewonnen und kennt die besten Bars der Stadt. Ist ein ruhiger Typ, der auf der Bühne explodiert.»
